How leaders conduct themselves visibly shows others their core focus. When a leader says one thing and does another, their credibility comes into question. Though this concept seems simple, there are many leaders who do not align their actions with their stated strategy. If you say you stand for high quality and standards and your actions show otherwise, your true motives and intentions will be clearly seen by others.
The best leaders lead by example. Great leaders know that actions are trusted far more than words. Set yourself apart as an effective leader who takes responsibility for the actions of those you lead as well as your own. Be ever aware that as a leader your actions are being observed, critiqued, and possibly mimicked. A leader’s actions guide their path toward abundant success or dismal failure.
